Engraving stickers should be considered as one of the earliest advertising materials in the history of modern advertising production. It was the “hardcore” business of advertising graphics and text stores in the early days and also the starting point for many veteran advertising professionals’ careers. Nowadays, the amount of stickers with simple engravings has greatly reduced, and the types, performance, and uses of advertising stickers have become rich and varied with the development of the industry.

Back glue PP advertising stickers

Also known as back glue, back glue paper, PP, etc., it is a material made of PP (polypropylene) synthetic paper as the base material through production processes such as coating, back glue, slitting, and packaging, which can be inkjet printed on its surface.

According to requirements such as glossy or matte surfaces, waterproofing, indoor/outdoor use, etc., back glue PP can be divided into many types, such as high-gloss back glue PP, waterproof back glue PP, and outdoor photo back glue PP, and so on. Back glue PP has a very wide range of applications and large quantities and is commonly used in display boards, X-stands, roll-up banners, hanging flags, backdrops, and other common scenarios.

The photo referred to in the advertising production industry is a large-size photo paper suitable for creating images through inkjet printing, as opposed to silver salt photographic paper used in traditional photography. Magnetic advertising stickers

Magnetic advertising stickers are generally used in conjunction with base materials and surface materials. The base material is coated with a magnetic adhesive, which has both magnetism and adhesiveness, allowing it to be directly attached to walls. The surface material is made of PVC surface skin combined with iron powder, which does not affect printing while also allowing it to be directly adsorbed onto the base material. The graphic image can be replaced at any time without the trouble of removing adhesive, and without damaging the original wall decoration, making it convenient and fast. As a result, magnetic stickers are widely used in enterprise culture walls, propaganda boards, and school teaching, and have spawned various practical products such as magnetic vehicle stickers, whiteboard stickers, and refrigerator stickers.

Static cling advertising stickers

Also known as self-adhesive or non-adhesive stickers, static cling stickers rely entirely on electrostatic attraction, without any adhesive on the back, and are mainly used in situations where a high requirement for removing adhesive residue. These include car windshields, glass lobbies, glass partitions, glass doors, shower rooms, sunrooms, and more. After printing a graphic image on the static cling sticker, it can be directly adsorbed onto the smooth surface of the medium. It is recommended to use the water-pasting method during construction.
