The Temperature When Using Heat Transfer Vinyl

When the temperature is too low, heat pressing will not work or be firm, and the imprint will bloom; Too high a temperature will cause the surface of the color layer to oxidize, causing the product to lose its luster, darken its color, and even blister. To determine the best hot pressing temperature, the following factors should be considered: pressure, speed, area, room temperature, etc. Generally, the hot pressing temperature ranges from 140℃ to 180℃. Once the best temperature is determined, it should be kept constant, and the temperature difference should fluctuate at 2℃.

The Pressure When Using Heat Transfer Vinyl

The pressure of heat pressing is generally 4-6kg/cm2. When the pressure is too small, the heat transfer vinyl material cannot adhere to the substrate, which reduces the fastness; If the pressure is too large, the compression deformation of the substrate will increase, resulting in pattern deformation and printing layer thinning. When hot pressing complex and uneven products, more attention should be paid to the uniformity of all pressure points, and the pressure angle between the bronzing wheel and the substrate should be higher. Otherwise, it is easy to appear the phenomenon that some parts are firm and some parts are not firm.

The Speed When Heat Transfer Vinyl

It should be determined according to the heat pressing area, and the power of the heating temperature should also be considered. Generally, the speed is first, then the pressure is determined, and finally, the temperature is determined.

Heat transfer printing is a new method of printing patterns on various materials, especially suitable for making a small number of personalized and customized products, and printing patterns containing full-color images or photos. The principle is that the digital pattern is printed on the special transfer printing paper with special transfer printing ink through a printer, and then the pattern is accurately transferred to the surface of the commodity with a special transfer printing machine at high temperature and high pressure, to complete the printing of the commodity.

Sublimation transfer printing is a new generation technology, which uses special sublimation ink and sublimation transfer paper. Graphic printing will not produce colloids on goods. If it is transferred to clothes, the ink will sublimate directly into the fibers of clothes, and its firmness is just like cloth dyeing, and its color is sharp, which is more suitable for colorful patterns.
