With the rapid development of the economy, the demand for printed materials is increasing, and the requirements for the printing quality of products are also increasing. The quality of printed products needs to be inspected multiple times and meet specific standards before they can be put on the market. Inspection method for heat transfer vinyl sheets: appropriate heat transfer

According to the material and characteristics of the substrate, choose suitable heat transfer machines and heat transfer conditions for heat transfer. The heat transfer film, when transferred, should have the complete transfer of the pattern, and the loosening and tightness of the peeling of the base film should be moderate, which is considered qualified. This method is suitable for hot and cold peel phenomena.

Inspection method for heat transfer vinyl sheets: color change during heat transfer

Corresponding to the printing product material, choose suitable printing equipment and auxiliary tools for testing. If there is no obvious color change on the surface of the transferred product after the transfer, it is considered qualified.

Inspection method for heat transfer vinyl sheets: adhesion test

Adhesion is a key factor that affects the quality of heat transfer vinyl sheets. It makes the heat transfer pattern and product material combine to achieve close molecular contact at the interface and form a new interface layer (adhesion).

Some customers have special requirements for adhesion, requiring the use of tape testing. Generally, tape testing is to stick transparent tape on the transfer surface, and then pull it up at 45° or 60° (specific angle) with force, repeating two to three times. If there is no detachment, it is considered qualified.

Before transferring the product, a part of the sample needs to be made for the water washing test. The standard for water washing tests should be determined according to customer requirements. Under normal circumstances, the workpiece is placed in the water for washing, no less than three times, and after washing, if there is no color change, weakened color, pattern peeling, or warping on the surface of the product, it is considered qualified.

Inspection method for heat transfer vinyl sheets: alcohol test

Alcohol testing is generally divided into alcohol immersion testing and alcohol wiping testing. The following is a brief introduction:

Alcohol immersion test

Place the printed product in a 65% alcohol solution for about 5 minutes. When the time is up, remove it. If there is no obvious color change, weakened color, or peeling on the surface of the printing product, it is considered qualified. Otherwise, it is not qualified.

Alcohol wiping test

Use rough cotton cloth or fabric to dip industrial alcohol, keep the cotton cloth wet, press it on the surface of the printed product, and wipe it back and forth with a specific pressure. The pressure and the number of wipes for the heat transfer film should be determined according to customer process requirements.

The flower films and finished products that fail inspection must be stored in the scrap area or designated area and marked for subsequent treatment.
