For example, when the pattern is hot stamped on a deep red workpiece, the blue part of the pattern will turn purple-red, etc. According to previous process experience, white will be used to separate the underlying color of the substrate and the impact on the pattern, and the darker the color of the substrate, the more layers of white will be used (up to three layers of white). In addition to increasing the cost of plate making, it often increases the difficulty of overprinting, thus affecting the quality of the transfer film.

The ink layer of the high-definition transfer film mainly consists of printing ink powder, and the thickness of the ink layer can be as thick as about 30m. Chemical resistance testing of heat transfer vinyl sheets

When testing the quality of printing, the chemical resistance of the printed pattern is an unavoidable problem for the printing industry. (1) The substrate printed with the high-definition heat transfer process was tested with 99% pure laboratory alcohol, hexane, and cleaning powder respectively. First, a cotton cloth soaked in alcohol was used to wipe the pattern on the substrate back and forth for 60 seconds, and the pattern on the substrate was intact.

(2) Then, a cotton cloth soaked in n-hexane was used to wipe the same printing surface back and forth for 30 seconds. Under the joint action of alcohol and n-hexane, the pattern was still intact.

(3) Finally, a cotton cloth was used to smear the cleaning powder and repeatedly wipe back and forth on another printing surface of the substrate for 30 seconds, and the pattern was still intact.

Based on the excellent performance of high-definition heat transfer vinyl sheets in chemical resistance testing, some substrates that were originally printed using other printing technologies have now begun to use high-definition heat transfer technology, such as bottle caps, perfume bottle caps, cream jar caps, and other substrates that may come into contact with alcohol or chemicals.
